These readings proved very useful to me. I realized how diverse games can be with subtle changes like making something "cozy" like a tavern to create a welcoming environment that let's you take a break from the harsh and challenging world of the game.

Game difficulty can be set, changed/altered and it can also be consistent as the difficulty can match your level of experience. This is good depending on the player's preference. Do they want consistency? Or do they want a challenge? Or do they want the game to be easy and relaxing?

A challenging game can put players in a "flow". It increases focus and reflexes and makes players make sudden decisions that decide how the rest of the game plays. Speaking of how the game plays, I got some more in-depth information on putting choice in games. Personally, I love RPG's and games that provide you with a wide selection of choice that lead to different outcomes and endings in the game. In my opinion this is one of the most engaging types of games and it increases the level of replayability. Choices can be good or evil. There's always some emotional impact. Do you want to save a friend or do you sacrifice them and get all the glorious loot.
