Workshop 1

TOPIC

The topic of that exercise was familiar to me, despite the fact that I've never done any driving lessons or theory tests. I feel like the purpose of this exercise was to teach us how to describe an action through images. Also how to describe the function something as simple as traffic lights in words. Maybe it was there to introduce us to the things we will be learning in Multimedia and how we can apply this exercise to our later work. Despite the fact that this topic isn't new to me, I realized that even the simplest of things have a lot of explaining behind them.

DELIVERY

We had to group up to do this exercise and describe both in words and in pictures how traffic lights work, we discussed the most simple and exact way to describe how traffic lights work. we then drew, each in our own way, the sequence and movement of cars through traffic.

This is both written and sketched explanation on how the traffic lights work.
I enjoyed working in groups, especially that we all knew what to say, we all broke it down to make it as simple as humanly possible.

REFLECTION

I like the idea of having a blog and writing about my experience. To be honest, I was never a fan of blogs and personally never really read any blogs. But the idea of having my own site and to write about my experience and thoughts for the purpose of lecturers grading it made me like it. I can't wait to write about my experience in making games, animation and what not and to share it with my peers and lecturers. This feels like a more free approach that lets me present my work in a more personal and comfortable way than before.
